Recipe Ideas
Below are some recipes and ideas for using the dip mixes to spice up your meals and snacks. I am always trying new recipes using my mixes, so I will occasionally update this page with new ideas. Robin's Anti-pasta
1/4 lb each of assorted meats
and cheeses cubed
(ex. capicola, genoa salami,
pepperoni, provolone, brick cheese, and mozzarella)
One cup each black and green
olives
One cup pepperonchini peppers
One pack of Bertolino
Blend bread dip mix, prepared as directed
Combine meats, olives and
peppers in Ziploc bag. Pour Bertolino Blend over mixture.
Marinate two hours to overnight. Serve over Romaine lettuce and
top with cherry tomatoes if desired.
White Pizza
One package of any of our
bread dip mixes, prepared as directed.
Your favorite pizza crust
Mozzarella cheese
Toppings (ex. sliced
tomatoes, mushrooms, sausage, etc.)
Spoon bread dip mix over
crust. Top with cheese and toppings. Bake at 400F until
cheese is melted and crust is done
Brushetta
1 1/2 cups diced tomatoes
One package Tuscan
bread dip mix, prepared as directed
One French baguette sliced
Provolone or mozzarella
cheese
Brush bread slices with
Tuscan bread dip. Spoon tomatoes onto bread. Sprinkle with
shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese. Broil 3-5 minutes until
cheese is melted.
Sun Dried Tomato
Chicken and Pasta
One package Sun Dried
Tomato bread dip mix, prepared as directed
4 boneless skinless chicken
breasts
1/2 lb of your favorite pasta
In a Ziploc bag, combine
chicken breast and one half of the prepared Sun Dried Tomato bread dip
mixture.
Marinate at least two hours.
Grill, broil or bake your chicken until no longer pink. Top cooked
pasta with the remainder of the prepared Sun Dried Tomato bread dip mix,
adding more olive oil as needed. Serve with chicken.
Warm Cheesy Dips
Use your favorite creamy dip
mix variety. We would suggest Spinach Bacon, Mushroom Bacon,
Pizza or Loaded Baked Potato. Combine with 8 oz. of cream
cheese, 8 oz. of mozzarella cheese and 8 oz. of sour cream. Bake
at 350F until warm and bubbly. Serve warm with crackers.
Sun Dried Tomato Pasta Salad
1 lb penne noodles
Two packs of Sun Dried Tomato bread dip mix
2 cups fresh baby spinach
½ cup pine nuts (pignoli nuts)
½ cup parmesan cheese
Olive oil
Salt & Pepper
Cook pasta as directed and drain. Empty Sun Dried Tomato bread dip packages into bowl and add 4 TBSP hot water. Let sit 10 minutes. Add ½ cup olive oil and mix well. Pour mixture over pasta. Add spinach, pine nuts, parmesan and salt & pepper. Mix well. You may need to add more olive oil depending on how much you like. Can be served chilled or room temperature.
Rosemary Potatoes
6 medium sized potatoes
One package of Rosemary Garlic Bread dip mix
4 Tbsp olive oil
Wash potatoes well. Cut potatoes into desired chunks. Lay on cookie sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle on Rosemary Garlic Bread Dip mix. Bake at 375 degrees until golden brown and fork tender.
Meatloaf
3 lb ground meat
One pack Onion & Chive dip mix
2 cups fresh bread crumbs
¼ cup ketchup
1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
Mix ingredients well. Put into 9x13 baking dish. Shape into loaf. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done. Serve with mashed potatoes.
Garlic Chicken
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
One pack Garlic Lovers dip mix
1/3 cup Olive oil
1 Tbsp white vinegar
Add all ingredients into a Ziploc bag and shake. Let set in refrigerator at least one hour, the longer the better. Grill or bake chicken making sure to pour all of mixture over chicken. You don’t want to waste any garlicy goodness.
CheeseBall
One pack creamy dip mix of your choice
Two 8 oz. softened packs of cream cheese
Mix together and roll into ball. Roll ball into chopped parsley or your favorite chopped nut to coat. Chill at least an hour and serve.
Other uses for bread dips
- Toss oil mixture with warm pasta.
- Sprinkle on your favorite meat before cooking.
- Use oil mixture as sauce for grilled chicken, steak or porkchops.
- Mix oil mixture with fresh cut tomatoes for a tomato salad. Add some mozzarella cheese balls
Other uses for creamy dips
- Sprinkle dry dip mix on on your favorite meat before cooking.
- Use mix as a marinade for chicken.
- Use dip as a sandwich spread.
- Mix with cream cheese for a bagel spread.
- Mix in your mashed potatoes for an extra burst of flavor.
- Mix with your bread crumbs when making breaded chicken or breaded pork chops
Other uses for dessert dips
- For a lighter dip and a mousse-like texture, use 16 oz. whipped
topping and omit cream cheese.
- Prepare dip in a graham cracker crust. Decorate with whipped
topping and sprinkle with chopped nuts or crushed cookies for an
easy dessert.
